My wedding is less then a month away and there’s one issue that is causing me a problem.
I ordered 16 bouteneires and 9 corsages from a certain etsy seller. She had good reviews. I ordered them in February, and it was stated that the items would be shipped in 3 weeks. After 2 months I contacted her to tell her my items hadn’t arrived.she said they “must have been lost in the mail” (which I didn’t really believe, but whatever)! So she said she would remake them and send them again. This was mid April. I’ve contacted her almost every three days since she said they were shipped again, and she won’t write me back. I’ve sent her about 10 messages that have all gone unanswered.
What do I do?!

File a claim with etsy. Did you use paypal? You can file a claim there too. You can also leave her negative reviews on etsy.
Im sorry, but I would start looking for alternatives.

@FortiesFlare: I would contact Etsy HQ directly to file a formal complaint and try to get your money back. In the meantime, I’d find another avenue for your bouteneires and coursages. Its such a pain in the A when people don’t do what they’re required to do. I used to sell on eBay and ran into jerks all the time. So sorry you have to go through this.
Scroll down to “Non-delivery”
Hopefully this helps.

I’d most def contact ETSY….very unacceptable for a seller to take that long. Also 10 messages have gone unanswered that is far too many. Some ETSY seller place notes in their shop if they are going to be out of town…..are there any notes on her main page?
I’d def be searching for alternatives. I know you have 45 days to file a claim with paypal but it appears its already past that 45 day mark maybe so I’d start with contacting ETSY.
I’d send one last final message and inform her in that message that you will be contacting ETSY and PayPal if she doesn’t respond.

@FortiesFlare: have you ever gotten a confirmation shipment? Like a code from USPS or ups?

She should have given you a delivery confirmation when she “sent” it. It costs 80 cents. But i agree with the others. File a claim. I am sorry this happened.

Definitely log a complaint with Etsy! That’s just shady! What was her rating like when you ordered? I would do as a PP suggested and let her know if you don’t hear from her, that you will be escalating it further, and that if she doesn’t want her reputation marred, she better get your paid for stuff to you PRONTO!

@weddingbound: There is a note NOW that she’s not taking any orders because she’s catching up on past orders, but that certainly wasn’t there until probably the start of may.
@FoxyBride14: no I haven’t gotten any kind of confirmation. She said she can’t provide tracking because it’s an international order (she’s in the US and I’m in Canada)
@McBezel: thank you, I’m going to contact etsy now.

@Baroness_Meg: she had 68 reviews and had 100% feedback.
Even in the beginning her communication sucked, but she said she was busy with finals, so I let it go. But this is just silly now.

@FortiesFlare: Eeeekkkk fingers crossed! Keep us posted!

This happened to me with my guestbook. File an etsy claim. She will have to respond to you if she wants to be able to continue to sell on there. I also ordered in Feb and it just finally shipped on Friday after I had my claim open for 2 weeks

It won’t let me open a claim?!
i am trying to figure out if it’s because I ordered so long ago or what?

That will help you.
Also I would maybe recommend the seller I used for fake flowers. They’re pretty IMO and she can ship quick if you need http://www.etsy.com/shop/SilkBridals
