I think they look lovely! I love real flowers, but hate that they will die after the wedding.
They look so real! It's hard to stomach paying so much $$$ for something that's going to die. You can keep these in a vase for decoration to help remember your special day. I'm doing silk flowers as well so I might be a little bias :)
They look real to me!!! I was going to go the same route as you by puchasing silk but I found that samsclub.com has amazing deals on real ones!! I plan to put all the flower bouts-bouquets-and centerpieces together the Thursday and Friday before our wedding :)
That's great you get to "preserve" your bouquet without the heavy price tag!
I think you found a good place that sells high-quality silks, because nothing looks worse than cheap, silk flowers. The color and shape of the roses is-spot on. The only give away is how thin the handle is. A bouquet of real flowers that size would have a much thicker handle. So my suggestion is to pad it out with something. Other than that, I think they look great!
If you want thicker handles try joann fabrics. My mom found bouquet holders that help make it fuller on the side and even have fake stems.
Those are really good fakes. I like the idea of fake flowers (because you can have them ahead of time and they don't die) but usually I hate the way they look. Those are beautiful!
If you can get high quality silk, they look fantastic! Some that I've seen are actually more felt-like than silk, and they have the texture of a real petal. Gorgeous!!
The brides in all the weddings I've been in used silk and they were all lovely. And we all got to keep them, so now I've got a really pretty collection and whenever I look at them they remind me of all the fun times we had at the weddings!
I love the the flowers, what website did you find them. I think i'm looking to do the same thing
I'm thinking of doing silks for mine to preserve them and partially due to allergies. I haven't decided if I'm doing the wedding party's silk or not? But I want to keep mine. Check out somethingspectacular.com. Theirs are INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!! I don't think they ould be much cheaper thank real (depending on your area) but they are VERY high quality and beautiful
