(Closed) Silk flower centerpieces… yay or nay?

I think silk flowers are fine. Try Hobby Lobby or Joann’s.

To be honest, I prefer branches or other decorations than silk flowers.  Maybe it’s because the ones that I have seen are just look too fake.  If you can find ones that has more organic look to it that is probably ok.

@gm234:  Totally depends on the type and quality you use. I’d look into real touch artificial flowers as they look very real!

If you absolutly have to then sure. But check out your options first. Have you tried grocery stores yet? Price chopper may be able to do something in your budget. And their flowers come in just as fresh as a stand alone florest.

@gm234:  I know many bees here have purchased from etsy. Message sweetchiquita12 she used real touch and hers were really pretty!

@gm234:  I put them together myself.  The nice thing about fake flowers is that I got to spend the time putting them together months before my wedding (no last minute stress) and I still have them looking great after 5 years!

My centerpieces were silk…got my flowers at Michaels!
