I've never heard of silk wrap nails before. I've had acrylic and gel nails done before. Both ways are going to ruin your nails. I say just have your real nails painted. If it starts to chip the day before your wedding then get them filled in again. Although I've never heard of anyone's paint chipping off within the first day. Perhaps go to a different nail salon.
my nail polish always chips after about 24-30 hours as well. my nails dont grow much but i am lucky enough to have the beautifully natural white tips so i dont get them painted...i just have them clean up my hands and paint clear polish. is taht an option for you? you could use a nail growth polish if yours are short.
My nails are pretty short and I only have a little over three months to try to grow them out. I've thought about the nail growth polishes. I'm not sure which ones actually work though.

Ok so my wedding will take place over a few days and I want to make sure that my nails stay looking nice the whole time. Nail polish on my natural nails seems to start chipping within 24 hours. I've had acrylic nails before but they damage my natural nails. I've heard of gel nails and silk wraps but have never tried either. Has anyone tried any of these? Do you like them? What are the pros and cons of each? Thanks
