Is this going to be in the center of the table?
Personally I would attach them to a tulle base that would ensure they stay put. Otherwise I would just a table runner instead or an EXTRA wide ribbon
I have decorated tables with ribbon before and didn't use anything to hold them down. One person was on each end of the ribbon and we just eyeballed it to make sure they were parallel to each other.
If you are worried about them staying in place I would hot glue a weight like a flat washer to the inside of the ribbon on each end. The weight will hold the ribbon in place as it dangles over the side of the table.
yes, center of the table, 10 meters long at the most :O) ok, yeah, maybe some hot glue is enough :)
I agree w/ the above poster, I wouldn't try to tape them down, because the ribbon might crumble up like bacon :(

Hi! We're going to have 3 or 4 silk ribbons at the tables, next to each other. Does anybody have an idea how to make them be nice on the table, and symmetrical? I was thinking of
