I just wanted to vent and hopefully get a little advice. Over the weekend I had suggested to my fiance that he wear a particular sweater that he got for christmas and still hasnt worn. I love the sweater and he says he likes it also. After he said he wasnt going to wear the sweater he also go upset with me. Saying that he can dress him self and so on.Now by no means do I ever tell him or lay out clothes for him to wear. I don’t really understand what the big deal was. I just thought since he knew I wanted him to wear it, that would be reason enough for him to want to wear it also.
Do you ever butt heads with your man over clothes? Or am I just being ridiculous?

Haha, we fight over where we are going to eat when we go out, LOL.

If I ever got a sweater for Christmas, I’d burn it. Maybe he’s having similar thoughts?
We have mini-fights all the time because we’re both stubborn and warlike. Sometimes our mini-fights turn into all-out brawls. I kind of like that we can be disfunctional together, though. We can spend twenty minutes swearing at each other and then plop down and watch Third Rock like nothing happened. That’s what I call solid.

Oh yeah. We are always bickering over silly things. Hahaha. We butt-heads often cause we’re alike, but we get along so well because we’re alike. I love that silly man.

OMG…ALL THE TIME!!! My loveable and cuddly hubby has NO sense of style and could care less! I’m “on him” all the time about tossing out t-shirts, socks, boxers, and even shirts that have holes in them!!! I swear, one day, I’ll raid his drawers and burn them all. HAHAHA!!! I also have to suggest to him what to wear when going out. He’ll fight me on it, but he usually comes around. I love him for that!
@Curator – I suppose we’re “solid” too!! Thanks for the reminder! hehe

@sweet4520: Ha, just be thankful he’s independent and wants to wear his own clothes. FI just got his first post-grad job and for the first week EVERY DAY I got a picture message asking ‘is this ok’ ‘does this look better?’ Oy!
And the ONE time I pulled the ‘just ask your mom’ card (I’m over an hour away and I was in class, I did NOT have time for this) is the ONE TIME he remembers that his mom OK-ed an outfit which I then told him never to wear again. I should be glad I’ve taken that role, but dang, they need Garanimals for men!
