Im getting married on 9/15/12 and we are mixing garden roses into my flower arangments and were not doing the typical fall colors, so I know that you should be able to get those...I would ask around to other florist.
I am having anemone bouquets in July. We are using fake flowers though, but they look very real! I got mine from afloral.com
Thanks so much for all of the input!! I will definately check out the Real Touch and afloral flowers as well.
thats exactly how I ant my flowers but with ivory and yellow <3
Hope you find the flowers you want or gorgeous alternatives, I haven’t started with my flowers yet.
I got married in November and my bouquet had Roses, Ranunculus, Mums, Succulents, Sweet pea and some filler. The color palette ended up being a little more muted than I wanted but it was still nice!

@abby_mb: another option is looking at fiftyflowers.com. It is an online wholesale retailer. They have greenhouses from coast to coast, so sometimes they can get you flowers that are normally out of season.
@adnama: I was just going to recommend fiftyflowers.com!
@mittens111211: OMG your bouquet <3 I’m so in love.
@adnama: thank you so much!!
@mittens111211: your bouquet was pretty gorgeous with the mums. I actually think I would prefer a muted bouquet
Also, I am new at this and haven't figured it out yet. sorry for the failed attempt to direct this at a particular person. : )
@Anthia: Thanks! The rans are small but they are in there.
And I second the suggestion of contacting another florist!
I just went to Hobby Lobby today, and they had real touch flowers 50% off.
I got alot of the flowers you have listed... my flowers will be all ivory though, but it all cost me under $40 for a huge real touch bouquet!
Since, we cant get all the flowers for the wedding that we want, my thoughtful fiancé surprised me with my dream wedding bouquet for me as a Valentines day present!!
Wow! What a thoughtful gift. You're a lucky girl. :)
I do want to chime in and say that I've seen photos on here from brides who used artificial flowers for their weddings, and they looked amazing. Like, I would have never known had they not said it. So I think it can be done well; it's just probably a little more difficult. :)

When my Fiancé and I chose a wedding date we didn't quite think things through completely. We both love fall and we decided to get married on September 1, 2012. We then found and booked our venue. Our wonderful venue is all-inclusive. We only have to handle the invitations, formal wear, and personal flowers. We have chosen the invitation and the attire. But we are having major problems with the flowers.
I know exactly what I want: ranunculus and garden roses in shades of pink and white french anemones.
However, I was told by a florist that I will not be able to get the ranunculus or anemones for September. When I asked her about the garden roses she said that those probably won't work either. After looking at hundred of photos and information on fall flowers I am at a complete loss. I do not want the typical fall colors and I really dislike all the fall flowers I have seen. I have thought of artificial flowers but all the ones I have found have that cheap look.
Do you brilliant ladies have any solutions to my problem?
