(Closed) silly question, but where do i clean my wedding dress?

You can just take it to the nearest dry cleaners, especially since it isn’t lace.

I chucked mine in the bath and it came up fine!

If you’re not game to wash it yourself then I would ask round your friends for recommendations for a drycleaner,  from what I’ve heard some are more careful than others

@dynamic_duo:  Maybe you could ring a couple of local bridal shops and ask if they have any recommendations?

Also – if your dress is polyester and white then not too much can go wrong if you gently handwash it.  I still have a few very small marks left under the hem of my dress but  I didn’t lose any of the beading or sequins and it’s still in great condition.

I would definitely ask your bridal shop where you got the dress from or ask the dry cleaners if they have had experience with wedding dresses. I once had a ball gown cleaned and it came back all weird 🙁
