But it bothers me all the same and I don’t think anyone else but you guys would understand!
I’ve always prided myself on my slender fingers. Not just because they look nice, but also because no other part of my body is considered thin (hee :P) and especially because any ring would look larger on my hands, due to more finger coverage. My ring finger on my left hand is a size 5 – great!
…except SO is East European, which means that wedding rings are worn on the right hand. That’s fine. So I sized my right ring finger and found it to be a size 6.75! How can it be almost 2 sizes larger than my left hand? The difference doesn’t look that big in person, but when I plug in my stats on the awesome http://www.diamdb.com website to check my finger coverage, size 6.75 looks dramatically different from size 5.
I’m so bummed! (And also sheepish to be annoyed by something inconsequential. :P)
