We registered for a $200 ceramic rooster at Macy’s. We thought it would be hysterical if someone purchased it…..Thankfully no one did. I am not sure why it was funny at the time. Looking back on it….it was kind of stupid. lol

We were joking around at BB&B, and registered for a $10 cow-shaped coffee creamer that we named “Moo Cow”

And we actually got it! So now she has a place of honor on display!

DH registered us for a Belgian waffle maker.

He has a serious thing for Belgian waffles. And of course, one of his friends bought it for us.

Ask me how many times it’s been used.

We registered for video games. I also registered for a laser toy for my cat – he’s family!

We got both video games and another friend got us a “real” gift as well as the laser toy. She signed the card saying the toy was from their dog.

I loved the registry gun so much I would have registered for anything!

@LibrarianTellsAll:  Ha, games area  great idea!  We should’ve registered for some.

We registered for a printer and a digital camera. We got both!!  Nice upgrades and useful but not the normal kitchen/bed/bath stuff on most registries.

@LibrarianTellsAll:  Oh we WILL be registering for CAH!

@MichiganGirl24:  When my roommate/cousin and I were 22 our aunt got married. We were the only family living close to her, so we did lots of wedding stuff with her and her now-husband, including registering. While they were distracted, cousin & I scanned a package of “Bubble Tape” (the gum), an US Weekly and a single roll of toilet paper. Someone bought all three and wrapped them up together, signing the card “John Doe”. It was extra-hilarious because they didn’t even know those things were on the registry. Cousin & I fessed up years later 😛
