Well, I have been looking for shoes that were comfy, pretty and that I could wear them again. Tricky to get all 3.
I found some wonderful silver shoes that do fit all 3….the only thing is…
I tried on a beautiful pair that had a really high heel and I hadn’t even gotten them off of me than another girl (bride) wanted to buy them. I know they were too high for me and her….but she was gonna change into flip flops after that….
I guess I am too practical for fancy shoes that I can’t walk in…but now I am feeling mine might be too plain…
Oh, well–better to be comfy for pictures and standing all day than to have blisters!!
Anyone else buying practical?

I consider myself to be buying practical, but not in the same way – I’m investing in high quality heels so that I don’t get blisters! I have two pairs of used Manolos and I’ve never felt better in heels. The d’orsays I have are 4″ heels and I was the only BM in FSIL’s wedding to happily make it the whole wedding/reception in them.

With my heels I splurged.. usually Im a ballet flat kinda girl.. but I have been known to walk a few miles in high heels quite comfortably.
I debated the same thing and got the heals and bringing a backup pair that are lower to the reception.. 😛

oh, I’m DEFINITELY going the wear-again route!
Cute flats in a fun color 🙂

Mine are fancy and I can wear them again and again. With everything. <3

I’m the wrong person to ask because even my everyday heels aren’t practical. I won’t even *think* of buying a shoe unless the heel is 4″ (I prefer 5″). My feet kill me at the end of the night but it is so worth it to me!
That being said, I think you should go with fancy AND can wear again. It is your wedding day, throw practical out the window 😉

I think a wedding is a special day, so why not wear special shoes… Go all out is my opinion!!! (ps: have a comfortable pair in sigh for the reception. Just in case!!)

I bought fancy shoes that I can wear again. I am not really a practical heel wearer. All my practical shoes are flats.

Maybe dress it up a bit with shoe clips? Like ones from absoluteaudrey.com or shoeworthy.com
