@Mrs-Mac:  your ring is awesome! I almost went the simple route too, since I am a RN and wanted to not have to worry about taking it off to go to work, but the bling won out. 😉

@Mrs-Mac:  what a gorgeous ring! I’m a sucker for simple settings, an intricate setting would never work for me personally and sometimes i think they can look too fussy. Is the white sapphire tension set?

Simple rings are just gorgeous, nothing to distract from the beautiful center stone!

Complex personality I have, yet simple settings are so fluid and matter-of-fact.  The simple ring almost betrays the ring-bearer.  Awesome juxtaposition.

OP, your ring is so practical as well as pretty, love it!

I don’t know if mine qualifies as “simple” but I would say it is because it’s quite small and understated, 0.25 tcw.

My best friend is engaged with just a plan gold band, can’t get much simpler than that! She’s 23, like me, and is so very down-to-earth and practical compared to many other girls our age. No bling there!

@MrsSnowMountain:  Um, missy, YES It is one of “us”….simple and complex.  Your ring brings joy to me when I see it because it looks exactly like a ring my grandmother got from Spain, 24k with white stones in it in the damn same design as yours.  Gmom gave it to me at 14.  I was shocked when I saw yours.  Glad to see another like it!

I lost my ring in a stupid teenage night out acting the fool drinking and flailing my hands.  It flew off and the 5 of us drunk teens were on hands and knees feeling the f*ing grass and river bank edge, drunk as hell, for that ring.  The cops showed up and that ended that night.  Lesson learned. *bawls

Damnit sorry for the essay.  But suffice it to say, LOVE your ring; it means something in and of itself, and to me from a distance/memory.  =)

sweetpotata NO WAY that is too weird, because my ring looks exactly like MY great grandmother’s! That’s an insane coincidence. My mom wears it, and it should be handed down to me, but it’s way too delicate for everyday wear. I came across my ring from a vintage Etsy seller, and I couldn’t believe how similar it was, and knew I had to have it!

I’m so sorry that is a particularly crappy way to lose your ring! :/ Hugs!
