I’d love to see some simple gowns, and how you plan on dressing them up. I’m not sure this dress is 100% right for me, it was kind of an impulse buy. But I think with veil, the right hair, and I plan on doing fusicia colored shoes, that will give it some pop. I wanted to wear a pretty dress, but I wanted to be the center of everyone’s attention. I think I’m worried that it is just a dress – that it lacks a wow factor. But, I don’t know anyone that’s worn a one shoulder dress.
I am a full figured bride, of course.

I love simple gowns! Understated is elegant. Personally, I love seeing a bride wearing a gown (versus a gown wearing the bride!). You’re giving your guests the chance to see all of you. I have a friend who wore a one-shoulder and she looked GORGEOUS. Also curvy and opted for simple nails, jewelry, shoes, but wore her hair half up with curls/bouffant and a long veil. Honestly, I remember the one-shoulder part because it was unique, and I remember how beautiful she looked, but I don’t even remember the dress’ details — and I think that’s how it should be! As for me, I am a curvy girl who wore a very simple, crepe column dress. I accentuated it with a thick, blingy bracelet, large emerald stud earrings, birdcage veil, bright pink nails, pine green heels, and (because it was winter) a blazer for when we were outside. Simple is beautiful — and I think accentuating the look with a bright lip, veil, etc. will make you, not the dress, the center of attention. Congrats — love it!

I love that dress! I wouldn’t call it simple so much as classy. I really like that and you can customize it with details that will make it very unique for you! I wore a more simple dress, and added a belt. I was very happy. I think the dress looks great on your figure too and the one shoudler is different.

I think it’s lovely. The belt gives it that pop of sparkle and with the shoes you described, you’re set to wow 🙂 You’ll be the center of attention no matter what. Also, I think it’s more important to have a dress that flatters you and that you feel beautiful in.
