So I got a call today from Pink Apron that I saw at a bridal show-I know I’ve gotten a call from them before, but didn’t go to this thing to get aprons & an “all inclusive 3day/2night vaca”. I said I would go tomorrow, but I’m unsure. I was just wondering if anyone has gone to this or had an experience with this. I’ve seen that it might be a scam, but I’m not sure.

I’d say it’s a scam. I got a call from some random company I’d never given my information to after a bridal show I went to – I didn’t call them back. I went to another show and started talking to the gal behind me who said she went to the same show and got the same call. They prey on brides – it’s a scam! 🙂

yeah. This is the 2nd time I’ve gotten the call-the first time was after a bridal show I didn’t even go to. I’m feeling sick anyways-so I probably won’t be going. The FI wasn’t too happy about going too haha

Well, I wouldn’t say its a scam but it is a shady sales tactic. My friend who was just married in June got the same call about a year ago, different company I believe, they promised them a 3 night all inclusive stay in their chose of locations as long as they viewed the company’s products at a show. The person on the line said there was no obligation to buy so they went figuring they had nothing to lose. They didn’t purchase anything and they were given the trip. However, the accomodations were horrible, they were only allowed to travel on strange days, the location was far off the beaten path and there was a “booking fee” of like $50. So basically, it isn’t a scam per se, its just not worth it to most people. Just like those time share presentations where they say they’ll give you a trip if you listen to their crap.
