Haha...I love it! As if that's totally an acceptable mode of transportation.
I just can't believe they would actually include that in all seriousness lol. It's corny but it made me smile.
Lol. And you know its pry not a joke. People pry actually do that!
hahahahahaha. thanks for the giggle!
if u do "japan" to "usa" #27 is something different :P
@Leche4evr- It funny that you say that because my cousin was telling me about someone who got hit following walking directions and it told her to walk into oncoming traffic and now she is trying to sue!
hahaha I love it! how funny, thanks for sharing.
Hey... that's better than those directions that tell you to swim!
This is funny. Maybe the guys at google doubt people will look up such vauge directions so they throw those in there for fun. (Couldn't they just say ferry boat or ship??) Love it! Thanks for the smile.
I like this. Type in Los Angeles to Honolulu too and look at direction #13 (I just wanted to see if it worked with other places).
My sister looked up Portland, OR to Okinawa, Japan when she was flying out to visit our brother. It told her tol kayak over 3,000 miles. Fantastic.
my BF just told me about this. He said a friend of his had posted it on FB. LOL That's funny. I tried to get it to say something from Japan to Australia and it didn't come up w/results. :(
@mandb122: Google is seriously in need of some updates! Why on earth would you drive all the way to Seattle and then kayake to Hawaii?? Haha what the heck? Wouldn't it make more sense to leave straight from California (hypothetically speaking about the kayaking lol)?
my mapquest told me they had trouble getting directions for it, and nothing came up. :(
those are hilarious. it seems to have trouble getting across the atlantic - maybe private water travel is reserved for the pacific?
Leave it to google maps to get it wrong... It's the China Sea!!! Sheesh! No wonder I always get lost!
US to Japan -- Man, my arms would get tired kayaking! :)

Hopefully this can make someone smile today:
1) go to google maps. 2) click on "get directions". 3) put japan as starting point. 4) put china as destination. 5) go to #43 of the directions. 6) laugh and repost.
