Where was your first date with your hubby/FH/BF...? BONUS if you remember the date :-)
Ours was at bar Louie in Chicago on Dec. 18, 2005. I only rememeber the date because my FH keeps ALL, and I mean ALL receipts and he found it while filing them a couple of years ago and I made a mental note. I didn't remember at the time because of course I never thought we would be here. But once I knew we were serious I knew I had to rememeber the day my life was changed for the better.

Hmm... Well, the first time I met my now wife, NotFroofy, in person (December 2000), I picked her up at the airport, to which she had flown from where she lived in England at the time. And the "date" went for a week and a half.
On the second "date," she moved in for what was originally supposed to be six months. She's still here, 11 years later.
Hmm. Well...interesting story, I'm not sure what to count as our first date. The day after we met (July 21,2010) we hung out with our two best friends at my apartment and my friend and I cooked dinner and we played N64. The next day, I went out with him and his friend (now BM!) bowling, but that still wasn't really a date. The week after we went out to a local coffee joint and watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail on his laptop. Come to find out he was actually dating a girl from back home then, they had been on and off forever and had just gotten back "on" 2 days before we met. They broke up a couple days after our first date. So one of those is our first date and I'm a home-wrecker. But not really, since they were not really together. Or at least I tell myself that.
Well mine was a doozy, we met as Sawatdee restraunt, which is Thai, and we hit it off so well that we closed down the restraunt, then we didn't want the date to end so we tried going to a movie, but none that we wanted to see were showing, so he took me to play pool, and I beat him in minutes, due to him hitting the 8ball into the pocket. After razzing him that I beat him with only one good eye (due to having had eye surgery earlier that week) he got really embarrased and took me to his place to watch a movie, but when we got there, his roommate had a few friends over, and there was an orgy going on in the living room, so we went and watched a movie in his room. And that was our first date.
Our first date was at the olive garden Easter 2009 ( i could google the date but im too lazy lol) His family was going away to visit his sister for Easter, and I wasn't able to go home to see my family (2 hours away) because of work, so we decided to have our first official date. He brought be a big chocolate bunny : )
Oh, and I remember when we were walking in an elderly couple was walking out and they gave us a coupon to use lol. I think we came back to my apt afterwards and watched a movie.
Our first date we went & seen a movie & went out for food afterwards & just hung out. :-) That was in December 2006, two or three days after we started dating. & We started dating on 12/15/06.
The first time we met in person (we first "met" on an online dating site) was at a Scottish pub. We had drinks and then went for a walk down by the river. It was beautiful! It was November 26th, 2009. I even remember what we both wore! Haha.
The mall in Santa Monica at the south end of the promenade, before the renovated. Then sushi at the north end, I can't remember the name, but there's an eye painted on the outside of the building? Then a movie at the grove, and then finally back to the promenade for drinks .... Barney's (?) I think.
You have an amazing memory! You can recall what you BOTH wore? Nice.
@GeekChic: lol Me either, I remember the smallest/randomest stuff sometimes though!
Our first date was dinner at a "fancy" place by school (definitely not fance once you're not in college anymore...) and a movie (Wedding Crashers!). Then back to his apartment to make out.
@GeekChic: I remember what we were wearing, too! I even remember what underwear and jewelry I was wearing because I was so nervous.
I met FI on facebook on April 25 2007 and we met for the first time on May 5. We went to Tim Hortons for a coffee. I also remember what we both were wearing, I even remember everything we talked about that nite hihi
Haha! We met online in a game in July of 2008 and then in person in Iceland November of 2008. We consider our first date November 9, 2008!
Our 2nd "date" was a 10 day long trip when he came to California to visit me in Jan 2009. Our 3rd "date" was another 10 long trip when I went to visit him in the Netherlands (and we went to Paris!). Our 4th "date" was 3.5 months long (started June 1 and ended Sept 15 2009) and spanned from California to the Netherlands! He spent a month here helping me pack to move to the Netherlands and then 2.5 months in the Netherlands where we decided to live in the USA after all! lol That's when we got engaged. Our last and final "date" was Jan 17 2010 to the present and started out in the Netherlands where I helped HIM pack and finish the immigration stuff (interview, medical, etc) for the fiance visa, and ended here in California with 2 ceremonies and much happiness! :D
Our first date was at a coffee shop on January 24th :) We are having our first look here. :)
This is a fun one! Our first date was January 5, 2005 at a little cafe/sandwich shop in town for lunch.

Our first date was Nov 30th 2007 we met at a Red Lobster but due to the hour and half wait time we went to a different place.
Well we worked together for a couple months before we started dating so I think our first official "date" was a Justin Timberlake concert. I wish Justin would stop "acting" and make another album already...

Neither of us was really looking for a relationship. We agreed to meet because neither of us had anything else to do. We met to watch a playoff game at a sportsbar/restaurant. We hit it off so well that neither of us paid attention to the game. The chemistry and conversation was fantastic! We met at 7:00, we were planning our next date by 9:00 but we didn't leave till midnight when the restaurant closed! He started texting/calling the next day and he hasn't left me alone since!
FI took me to a drag race for our first date. It was April 10, 2008. We had gone to dinner a couple of times before that once with my friend and once just us, but I consider the drag race our first planned date.
We had talked and emailed for a week or so up until our first date and I think we psyched ourselves up so much pre-date that we were nervous and weren't ourselves on it. We didn't really get along and it was almost like he was a different guy,/me different girl than our phone dates, but the chemistry was sizzling hot.
As soon as the date was over, we phoned each other and were like.. wtf happened? Lets make a lunch date tomorrow.
So we did and it was the Aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh moment.
We went for lunch around the corner from my work, he had on his military combat stuff and that was just ducky! I remembered he smelled like lined dried laundry. He had cheeze burger and I had a taco salad. We both had ice tea. It was perfect.
We were still in High School and went to see the movie Orange County together. Very PG.
September 4, 2005. I also remember what we both wore hahaha.
Our first date was at steak n shake. Cause we're classy like that.
Our first date was on November 3, 2007. We met a week before that at a Halloween party. We went to the Los Angeles County Museum or Art to see the Dali exhibit and then we hung out in the park there and talked for hours. Then he took me to what is actually my favorite restaurant, (but it was a lucky coincidence), which is Firefly. Then we went for drinks at a club/lounge. That's where we had our first kiss.
I even remember what we both wore. Luckily it still fits!
Our first date was to a restaurant in downtown Nashville, where we both swore up and down we were "just friends" and it wasn't a "real" date :)
We wound up staying and talking so long they kicked us out of the restaurant, so we moved to the bar area ( where he spilled his drink ALL over him) and then they kicked us out of the bar area so we went to the parking lot and talked until 4 am!
Little things stick out to me like how I ordered the worst possible first date dish ( catfish bites that had to be eaten by hand) and how he was trying to impress me with his beer and cocktail knowledge (I am a Mich Ultra and boxed wine kind of girl... don't judge!). Not to mention the fact that since we were seated on the rooftop, the huge industrial sized fans kept blowing my dress up and my hair all around my face and his napkins kept flying everywhere.
This was on a Tuesday night, and I remember I couldn't wait for the weekend when I could see him again! We spent a couple months in denial, acting like we were just on the path to the friend zone...then one day I came to my apartment to find him sitting there and telling me he wanted me to be his girlfriend right that moment!
Now every time we go to that restaurant I remember our first "non date" date and how beautifully things have progressed from there! He popped the question on June 6 and we are getting married May 12, 2012!
Our first date was June 2004 - and we went to see the movie "Anchorman" opening day :)
Our first date was technically senior prom. So sometime in May of 2003. We went on a few other dates after that, but I was moving away after high school so it wasn't anything serious. On our 2nd first date when I moved back to town a few years later was mini golf and pizza and we brought my baby sister along. It was very fun and sweet.
2/11/2009 We had met from Match, and been talking about a week when we went for drinks at a local dive bar. He lives about 45-and hour from me, so I made him come to my area just incase he was a weirdo! But it was great, we drank way to much and closed down the bar! From that night we were together!
We had already known each other for several years, so our first date was pretty laid back. We went out strolling along a street that was plentiful in restaurants, picked a nice Italian place, had dinner, and then had a movie marathon at my apartment. First kiss happened after the credits of the last movie, and then we stayed up all night talking and ended up spending the entire next day together as well. Longest first date ever, lol.
ETA: Oh, and it was February 27, 2008, three years to the day before we got married :)
We had our first day on Feb 20th 2006, we saw Pink Panther and ate at In N Out.
We saw Jackass 2 on Sept 27th, 2006. I had known him for about 15 yrs but that was our first official date.
I rode the max to ikea. He picked me up. Took me to target and bought me a necklace and a belt. Then took me to breakfast. I met his mom and grandma. Then we went to a blazer game. 11/6/2010. I had been his gf for 3 days
Depends on who you ask - I say Tim Hortons, but he apparently doesn't count that as a date, and says that our first date was after he asked me to be his girlfriend and we went out for dinner. Silly boy.
We went to an upscale, health food restaurant (we are both healthy eaters and exercise fanatics which is part of what we bonded over) for dinner and then we went to one of those wine bars where you buy a card for a certain amount and then you can use it to get little tastes of different wines from an automated machine. I think it was May 9th, 2009.
I still have the card from the wine bar as a memento :)
