Those are adorable bellenga! I think the flower girl and junior bridesmaid will love them too! Maybe you could get them a little present too so they don't feel left out?
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! I love these!!!! I just asked my girls over the phone LOL, but these TOTALLY make me wish I had done something like this!!!
Oh of course I"m getting them something. One's my neice (the junior bridesmaid) and she's getting her holiday present and that at the same time. Her gift is a 50 buck gift certificate to Sephora (her all time fave store). The flower girl is T's daughter. We're giving her some more American Girl stuff for Christmas and I'm getting her a flower girl outfit for her doll.
Oh and the ringbearer? I'm getting him a kite so he can fly it at the wedding or on the beach and have fun. We're seeing them also over the holidays!
The card asking them will be a great addition to those gifts!
I'm just sending the note to my honor attendants though. I'm having 3.
The other people I didn't think about saying i had gifts for b/c I'm seeing them soon. The bm's (except for my bff who's coming to visit in December and my sister) are the only ones who will get their whole package sent to them( the other 2 who live out of town and I'm not seeing for a few months).
Thanks everybody. I got a wild idea to do them last week as I found a little "something somethin' " out.
I figured I had best get on the ball with this kinda stuff!
Thanks so much. I think it's gonna look good with the whole ensemble.
Here's what they'll get:
it will arrive in a hatbox (unless you're 2 of the 4 bm's that I'll see in person). Inside the hatbox in a matching expresso color will be tissue paper of both pink and chartreuse and inside it they'll find the letterpressed notecards and the apron. Attached with curling ribbon to the apron will be my bridesmaid proposal card I just finished diy'ing! (see other post).
That's the plan stan!
I love embossing. I think its relaxing fun except the embossing heat tool can do a number on your nail polish if you're not careful.
I got the card btw, at Michael's. I also think I saw it at Paper Source too though.
Those are so beautiful Belle! You are making me want to go to Michael's and get something crafty to do! :-) I LOVE that stamp! Where did you get it?
Here's the apron I'm going with and the letterpressed notecards:

and these

That's a great package. I'm sure your BMs will love them. I wish I had thought of things like that when I was planning!
love it love it love it love it!!!! we'll have to chat about this embossing this and that lol!! i have to get my christmas cards... all THREE of my kids are playing and watching tv..
OMG those are fantastic, bellenga! Love them! Sounds like quite the set-up you've got going on! You suuuuuure you don't need an honorary bee attendant?
@km: shoot I was just going to ask her if she's sure she didn't want to send me that apron!! it matches theone that I have now, but it is a bit more fabulous with the halter lol...
ooo they look wonderful!!! your bridesmaids will adore them!
Thanks so much..Ya'll are great!
Stamp from Michael's but I swear I saw it at Paper Source too!
So everybody thinks the Minerva Apron and the letterpress notecards are it huh?
Geez I feel better! Whew!
I did an embossing DIY intruction/tutorial on my blog in case you want to catch embossing holiday fever! And there's some cute pics of us last night at the tree lighting too! I looki too pasty white in our holiday pic though. I may have to tweak some stuff on it. That's the one I'll send out with our cards this year (doing PS die cut holiday cards and then going to town with MORE embossing fun!
They are beautiful!!! Great job! I bought the same stamp to make cards for my bridesmaides but they aren't done yet.
I bought that same stamp on ebay because the Michael's store by me didn't have it.
Pretty! I love the embossed look...home made cards are the best :)

And I think it turned out great!
What I'm going to do is handwrite a personal note on the back of the notecard in matching gold ink and then seal it in the envelope (it's not large). Then punch a hole in the upper right hand corner of the envelope (w card inside) and attach some fuscia curling ribbon to the item/items I'm enclosing in the package to be sent to each bridesmaid like a tag!
I embossed the cards using translucent gold embossing powder and gold metallic ink for some "oomph". They are really sparkly in real life and just are so cute! I'm sending the ones with the scalloped-edge to my bridesmaids, and the hot pink ones to the flower girl, junior bridesmaid, and to the mom of my ringbearer, who will also be singing that day to "propose" to them also (but the bm's get the gifts!).
Whatcha think?
