I am new here so hope I am posting in the right place!
I am stuggling to find a bolero to wear with my Sincerity 3664 gown.
I have brought a satin one but just doesn’t look right :/
I also saw a post on here where a lady had the train of the dress reduced to make straps for the dress – is this easily done? It looked great!

@Smoo: First of all, welcome to the hive! I love Sincerity dresses, before I ever tried on a wedding dress and decided on a different kind of silhouette, I was in love with a picture of one. But they ddon’t seem to be very popular among the ladies on this site, which is fine, because I think it’s great to have a dress that’s more unique 🙂
You might have more luck getting help with finding a bolero if you post on the Accessories board and mention it in your title.
I’m not sure about making some material from your train into straps, I think it depends on how simple your train is and how good your seamstress is.
ETA: I just looked up your dress and it’s gorgeous! But because it’s lace, I don’t think you can shorten the train. There’s a lot of beautiful detail along the edge that you would lose, and I think that would be a shame.
