@tennjm2663:  I have been using castor oil on mine every night before bed and it truly helps them grow and makes them so soft!  You have to get really good quality oil though … I got mine from  Here’s the link:  Use a q-tip to apply the oil to your lashes/lash line and it should help quite a bit.  If they’re still stubby by your wedding day, you can always do falsies! 🙂

Why not just wear falsies?

4 weeks is such a short time. i imagine falsies are really your best bet. Why are you against them?
Also, sorry for your unfortunate accident.

Falsies! It definitely sucks though, I did that to my eyelashes once.

I support using castor oil (not olive oil as it is not really effective imo) as well as “natural looking” falsies. The falsies will enhance the still their lashes, and help to make them look normal without over doing it and looking fake.

I suffer from trichotillomania, and castor oil has helped alot in growing back the lashes I’ve pulled from root.

Singed eyelashes shouldn’t be too bad since you haven’t damaged the root/lash can still be growing before new ones emerge. My boyfriend actually did the exact same thing to his lashes and brows. Within a week the “singed” tips were gone, so the lashes looked normal, albeit shorter. Within a month they were back to normal length.

I actually use Live Clean non-petroleum jelly (made for babies). Its main ingredient is castor oil, and I use it every night.

@xoxocheri:  +1.  My husband burned his off a while ago too, and they were back within a month.  I think you’ll be ok!
