We are looking into wedding bands and we are torn between gettng a single band or a double band (one on each side of the ring).
I know the double band enhances the look, but then we are paying for another band an I dont want to take away from the ring. I have attached the photo of her engagement ring. Its a split shank that goes 3/4 way down. here is the ring. love to hear some adv. or dissadvantages.

If you’re looking to highlight the center stones, but really want the set to be symmetrical, perhaps you should look into getting dainty, 1.5mm or so, plain white gold bands made to curve around the setting.

I think two might look too busy, but if you want it to look symmetrical, definitely go for two.

Personally, I think that two bands will be too much alongside the split shank, but the only way to know for sure what your taste is is to have her go try them on!

You could always get one band now, and add another one later as an anniversary gift or something if you decide you want it.
