I’m working on the program for my FH’s brother’s wedding. I am a bridesmaid. I’m curious how to list my relationship. I am the Groom’s Future Sister-In-Law (they’re getting married first)
Do I write:
Sally, Sister-In-Law to be of the Groom
Sally, Sister-In-Law of the Groom
Sally, Sister-In-Law to be
or Sally, Sister-In-Law
I’m leaning towards Sally, Sister-In-Law to be. Thoughts?

I’d just do Sally, Sister-in-Law of the Groom. I think the “to be” is just a temporary condition and won’t be relevant in a little while, but people might hang on to the programs for years.

I would probably say “Brother of the Groom’s Fiancee”. But that’s just me. 🙂

Who knows, maybe the bride will just want it to say “Friend of the Bride” It’s up to her in the end, just looking for reccomendations.

I’d just say sister-in-law. People will probably be able to figure it out easily enough. Adding all the other words just makes it hard to understand.
