I do, and I almost pity the wives. Not for sharing a husband, but because I find him so childish and immature. They’re his moms before being his wives …

@Atalanta:  I watch it.  I think it’s interesting to see how their plural family works.  It’s definitely not what I imagined.

I don’t think I’d call it shallow.  I think Kody really tries to be a good dad, a good father, and a good man.  Some time I think he’s a tool, but his intentions are respectable.

@Atalanta:  That show is still going?!? I thought they were facing criminal charges for it in the first place!

@RunsWithBears:  I agree. None of them are mean spirited. It’s quite a change from a typical reality show

I watch it, and for the most part enjoy learning about their lifestyle and how they all interact with each other.

I have found this current season to be kind of repetitive in storylines, but I think it is now very apparent how much damage seems to have been done with them all living apart, and the dynamic amongst the wives really has changed (IMO).

I watch it pretty regularly, I hate the husband.

I feel like the whole show is the 4 wives contantly reassuring each other that they’re “happy”. It really is sad. I’m glad some of the older kids are branching out and finding their own identities and that not all want the same lifestyles.

Anyone watching tonight? The Q&A? What gets me riled up more than anything is hypocrisy. They talk about the girls needing to wear the ‘correct’ clothing, but then when one of the teenagers critiques Kody’s pants being too tight one of the wives says “maybe we like them that tight.” How is it different when the man wears something that betrays too much about the body vice a woman?

UGH. FEMINISM. DO WHAT I WANT.

@Atalanta:  I don’t know, I think they have average problems (home buying, teenage kids, babies, money, kids going to college).  And it’s kind of refreshing to see a family that more or less has its act together.  I don’t think they are necessarily hiding stuff, they are just good about controlling their emotions (you know, like adults should).  Kody and the first 3 wives have been together for, what, 20 years now?  I would expect them to behave like mature adults and control their emotions.  Granted, I’m sure they do refrain from expressing some emotions/opinions because they don’t want to air all of their dirty laundry out on TV.
