I find it helpful to realize that people come in different shapes and sizes.

This is very interesting. Just goes to show how even if someone is the same height and weight they can carry weight it very differently. I am 5'7" and 160lbs and people always seem to never believe me that I am 160lbs (they think I weigh less) until someone thats 130lbs stands next to me lol.

@Genuine513: Most people are surprised by how much I weigh (~150 at 5'3").

Cool site!  Although....it's actually made me feel a tad worse about myself, haha.  I plugged in my height and weight and everyone else looks better than me - darn this flabby body!  :P

neat idea, but I think there are a handful of entries where they are deluded or maybe just dishonest.  I just looked up my own height/weight. most of the girls looked the same as me, but there was one (in a bikini) who was easily twice the size as the rest.  I wonder if it was a typo?

Interesting. I put in my stats, and I wouldn't consider any of the women that popped up to be fat.... but I view myself as a total cow. Yeesh.

It only goes in 10 lb increments so when you are on the lower end of the scale, those 10 lbs can be a big difference! (fat vs. muscle) because its a larger % of body weight Say you are 135, but you can only look up 130 vs 140 at 5'5"

Cool site although it kind of frustrated me actually.  Maybe I'm just deluded but I feel like I look smaller than almost every picture up there for my height and weight so I question if they are really accurate portrayals.

@Juliepants: Same here. Even the ladies who are the exact same weight, pant size, and shape as me, look way better than me. All flat stomachs and no love handles... unlike me. And no flabby thighs. But then, maybe people who have those just wouldn't post a picture, lol, because I wouldn't, especially after seeing how much better the rest look.

This was really positive for me! None of the women in my "category" (5'7", 170 lbs, size 14/L) looked as "fat" as I feel most days. They looked totally normal, in fact. Made me feel like maybe I am normal, too.

    Fascinating!

The woman that's equivalent to my weight and height looks nothing like me, except for the really short legs.

I felt kind of good after looking at this! But it was neat to see how people carry themselves differently...I have more muscle so I looked smaller than my 'size', but even the less muscular people still looked good!

The majority of girls my height and weight looked just like me, and there were 2 whole pages of them. It actually made me feel good because usually I feel like I'm a freak of nature because I am super short, have a really small top and some serious junk in the trunk, but at least I'm not alone!

@kitcat12: I felt the same way! I thought the ladies with my stats seemed so normal and I always consider myself overweight. I wonder if we have distorted views of ourselves.

I love that site. It really helped me realize that my height and weight does not equal OMGFATTY. I still look at it from time to time...it's good for a reality check.

    wow, this is cool.

i put in my height and weight, but most of the people look bigger than me!

In fact, i would say they are all at least a good two sizes bigger than me!

i wonder if my self-perception is a bit off? ;)

@kaylee26: maybe so. I noticed that most people with my height and weight are a size 10, but i a size 6, sometimes smaller. i must just be built different!
