My daughter got a sudden fever last night and shot up to 104. We got it down to 102. The doctor is saying it’s hay fever and now we are doing an allergy test. She’s so miserable. 🙁 Send all your positive thoughts this way. I’m going to be here for a while.

Oh allergy tests are never fun. A nice bath and calamine lotion helped me after that. Good luck @Miss Tattoo, wishing your daughter gets better very soon!

Aww, I hope she feels better! I’ve never heard of allergies causing fever though; she should probably take children’s motrin or even an antibiotic if she has the fever for a while.

@Pomapoo: I had hay fever a couple years ago. Was cleaning out an attic that was crazy dusty. I was sick within hours. Throwing up, shaking, fever, sweating, rash on my arms, ect.

She’s okay now. She’s with my mom and I’m back at work. I didn’t want to come back until it got below 101. She’s at 99 now and being spoiled by nana.
