Has anyone ever put 9 people at a 60 inch round WITH chargers at each place setting? It feels tight to me. I really want/need to put 9 people at only one of our 60 inch tables but if it is going to be too tight im considering moving up a size to a 72 inch table, just for that table. That said, I only have table cloths for 60 inch tables so the 72 inch table would have a “short” table cloth.

@queencharlotte04: From what I recall, 60″ rounds comfortably fit about 8 people, so I’m thinking it would be okay to squeeze one more in the tables if you needed to. Personally, I think it’ll be fine. Not sure what everyone else thinks though! 🙂

@queencharlotte04: If I understand correctly, you’ll have 8 people at nearly all the tables and 9 people at one table. I think it is fine to squeeze 9 on one table. If you are doing a seating chart, perhaps the 9 people table could be smaller people (teens, kids, petites), but I wouldn’t really worry about it.
Personally, it would bug me to have the table cloth off for one table (not to the floor) and most likely you’ll have a few no shows, so you may end up with more elbow room at that table anyway.
