i am having a vintage romance themed wedding and what I did is get a 16x20 ish cork board, covered it in fabric and made tags. I am having about 100 guests. If you want, I will post a pic later to show you how it came out. I think a 16x20 or even 18x24 is a good size.
We did something similar (with 120 guests), and i believe the actual paper that was the chart was printed on was 16"x20". We skipped the frame, and had it mounted on foamboard, and put it on an eisel. It worked out great, all the names were in 12pt font, so quite legible.

Hello! I am looking to make my own seating chart and putting it in a nice frame. For those who have done the same I was wondering what size did you go with? I have about 130 guests and trying to figure out the right size. The frames I'm looking at come in 18X24 or 24X36. The latter seems so big and I'm trying to see if I could get away with it in a 18X24 frame.
