I took regular season swelling into account for both e-ring and w-band.  It spins in the winter, and gets tight enough to be hard to take off in the summer.  Any biggr and it’d fly off in the summer, any smaller, I’d lose a finger in summer!  I did not take into account pregnacy swelling or weight gain.  Those things are just unpredictable and will be dealt with when the time comes.  Preg swelling isnt permant anyways (i hope), I’d never size my ring for something temporary like that.

Someone that I used to work with just wore her rings on a necklace once she got too swollen in her pregnancy to wear them. I would maybe just buy a cheap placeholder ring to at least have something on that finger, but as far as sizing my rings I want them to fit me currently, and like PP said, right now my e-ring is a little snug (it’s hot) and a little on the looser side come winter, but still fitting.
