Weddingbee boards

Super excited, lol. So he has had the ring for a month and a half, was going to do it at Christmas, didn't, all his friends and family expected him to so now I bet they are kind of scratching their heads like 'uh oh, I hope he is still going to do it!, haha. 

We just planned a spur of the moment ski trip based on good weather and some good deals on lift passes, goin down to New York to ski all weekend. I was hesitant because my cousin who I am super close to's wife is due with their second baby on Tuesday, so I bet she will give birth while we are gone, and I kind of wanted to be there... but they live in a city 2 hours away from me anyway, so it was never guaranteed that she would go into labour / give birth at a time when I would be able to drop everything and head down there. Anyhow, if it does happen, the baby will still be there when we get back. It's not like I was going to be her labour coach or anything, and I visited them last week to make sure they were all prepared. And my bf really wanted to go on the trip this weekend... because the weather forecast looks great, he says.

My cousin is now in on the 'I think I'm getting engaged soon' secret so he was totally ok with me going on the trip, he is excited too. "Definitely go for it, maybe it will be a big weekend for both of us!" he said, awe. He thinks the baby will come on Saturday because that is their 5 year anniversary. Who knows, maybe the fb pics I post immediately after holding my precious bebe neice on Monday-ish will be 'spot that e-ring' pics too!  Eeee!

ok though, I can't get my hopes up too too high because we had planned to do 2 of these trips, so maybe it will be during the 2nd one... but I think I'll get a manicure anyway ;)

Either way, I'm so pumped for great skiing all weekend with my love!

Well, it wasn't it, but what an awesome weekend! I love my SO more than ever. We had so much fun skiing, checking out the town, and just enjoying each others' company. It was so nice to just be me and him, alone all weekend! But now I have absolutely NO idea when the proposal is coming, lmao, how much do I want to bet that neither does he?! Maybe he's just shelved the proposal idea for a while? No idea... After Christmas, the ski trip was my best guess, though we will probably do another one... oh well, I guess I'm still waiting! Happily at least!

'Spur of the moment' kinda tipped me off, so I thought, but when we got back tonight and I was all 'I feel so refreshed, thank you for driving the whole time, awesomest weekend ever, I love you, etc.' he said 'yeah, I could tell you were having a really stressful week, hence why I pushed the spontaneous ski vacation'. Awww! love so much...

I will be so happy when he proposes, of course, but I have to admit that waiting for it is still kinda exciting. I'm always like 'shit should I have done my nails? Could this be it? Maybe he'll do it like this, or this? I'm sure eventually it won't be fun (to be waiting), so I'm enjoying it while the feeling lasts!
