I don’t know of anything, but a size 4 body in that dress…it would be WOW!

Yea that’s a stunning gown. See if she can track that dress down as a sample to purchase…or a used one. Then add light beading throughout.

GORGEOUS DRESS OMG!! If she’s dying for more bling, less is more. Wear jewels as earrings, or a fancy necklace. If she’s just looking for something to jazz it up, maybe a ribbon or sash?

I’m getting married in the Skyler gown. 🙂  (I just have to say, the blond model in these photos does not do Skyler justice — this is one of those rare gowns that looks even better on a pear/hourglass than on a woman with slim hips.)

I know what your friend means about the gown’s “plainness” — that’s actually the reason I chose it over the other gowns I tried on. While the Alencon lace is stunning in person, it’s not the least bit glittery, sparkly, or blingy.

There was some other Augusta Jones gown I tried on that WAS blingy — I wish I could remember the name. Has your friend looked at the Augusta Jones website? A lot of her dresses from 2014 have similar touches of lace, but varying degrees of sparkle.

Also, have your friend take a look at the Rosa Clara 2015 collection. It’s all over Pinterest and I see tons of interesting lace necklines in it, while the backs of the gowns also have interesting lace detailing a la Skyler.

LilRhodyGem:  The dress I’m going to show you doesn’t compare lace-wise (that dress is stunning) but it has bling throughout the dress as well as an interesting back. I also think the shape would look amazing on her. It’s Sophia Tolli – Leigh, sorry if it isn’t helpful.

How about the Augusta Jones Anita? Not heavily beaded, but beaded nonetheless:

Augusta Jones Jessie doesn’t have the same neckline but it does have all over bling. Here it is on a Bee:

I’m thinking it would be easier (and quicker) to add an interesting lace neckline to that than it would be to add beading to a dress that doesn’t have any.

Other than that, this Martina Liana is not quite as interesting neckline-wise but seems pretty blingy:

Has some beading on it:

Not all lace, obviously, but same neckline, lace on the train and bingy on the bodice:

This has a diamante beaded option, also Martina Liana:

Jim Hjelm – lightly beaded, apparently

LilRhodyGem:  I’m glad. You really can’t tell from the pictures but the whole dress has sparkles in it. You have to look at the pictures closely to see it properly.

If she likes the August Jones Anita or Jessie they will change the neckline and shoulders for a minimal price.  I am wearing Monica (I love her!!!! August Jones makes the best dresses!) but I am having August Jones put 3/4 length sleeves on it to make it more “fall” appropriate. The bridal shop called to see if it could be done and the cost is only an extra $200.  If they make a certain neckline already they can always add it – especially Anita they would just be adding a little more on top. Her bridal store should have told her this could be done. Good luck!
