It doesn’t work for me. It’s kind of a bummer, because from what I’ve heard, it sounds awesome. I actually find it kind of grating. haha

I’ll have to check this out.  ASMR works for me (the synesthesia response), so maybe this will help me go to sleep.

greenidlady:  I love ASMR videos on Youtube. I accidentally found them about a year ago and I watch them everynight before I fall asleep. My FI thinks it’s super creepy though haha. My favorite user actually had to delete her channel a few months ago but she just made a new one! You should check her out, she only has 2 videos up so far. EquineQT Whisper.

I’ve always remebered getting goosebumps or cold chills when people did things certain ways. I love when my grandma flips through the newspaper, or a sales lady wrapping glass in tissue paper. When I found ASMR videos, it all made sense! 🙂

I also have misophonia (I absolutely hate the sound of people eating…I literally cry if someone eats with their mouth open/talks with food in their mouth/chomps on chips…etc). So there is a very fine line between the ASMR videos I love and the ones I hate. It’s so weird!!

Oh my, that video majorly triggered my Misophonia. Those mouth noises! Are there always mouth noises like that? I actually hate the sound of people whispering too haha.

I listen to ASMR videos almost every night. My favroites on youtube are Olivia’s kissper and GentleWhispering. I tend to experience it more with hairbrushing, massages and people doing everyday things such as folding clothes

Oh my god, I’ve never heard of this before but I love it! I’ve always gotten those brain tingles from things like my grandma’s voice… Even thinking about it gives me the tingles. I can’t believe this is a thing!

greenidlady: I discovered ASMR videos about a year ago while looking for guided meditation/visualization videos. I’m not a fan of Waterwhispers or a lot of “asmrtists” for that matter, but I do occasionally listen to gentlewhispering and asmrrequests. While I find their voices relaxing, I haven’t experienced “head tingles”.
