My BFF will be spending the night! But she snores, so maybe not in the same bed, lol. I’m really looking forward to it, partially because I know my mom is going to be FREAKING OUT and my BFF will be a good buffer, lol.

@mscuppycake:  Not married yet, but my mom actually asked me about this today. I told her I hoped I’d be sleeping alone because I wanted to sleep well! I’m a grumpy old lady, but it’s the truth!

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with you not having a sleep over with your girls. I haven’t participated in one as a bridesmaid.

@mscuppycake:  I’ve been a BM 5 times and have never been invited for a sleep over. Also, I plan on spending it with my FI

Every wedding I’ve been in, the bridesmaids have a sleep over the night before (most of hte time finishing last minute things, like DIY flowers, or seating charts, or wrapping favors) and have an early night. I’ll probably do that, as it’s what most of my friends do, so it’s pretty common! We always let the bride sleep alone, and the maids sleep either on cots or in other beds. We’d rather not keep the bride up if the bridesmaids decide to do so.

My mom stayed with me. I wanted DH to stay but he refused – wanted to stick with tradition.

@mscuppycake:  I refused to have anyone in my room the night before the wedding!

I hung out with my sister/friends until midnight, then they left, I went to bed, and got up at 5am to go running/shower/relax.

Then I met my Dad for continental breakfast at 6:30! And was at my hair/make up appointment by 7:15.

    It was HEAVENLY.

I asked my sister (and niece) to stay with me in my hotel room. So glad she was there to soothe me to sleep during a mini meltdown.

She and my niece slept in, and I woke up at 5:30 and had a few hours to just relax and savor the moment (and shave my legs, muy importante!).

I spend the night with one of my bridesmaids and he stayed at our home. We couldn’t help but text all night.

Not married yet but I plan on sleeping with two of my best friends in a hotel. I love having sleep overs with those two.
