i bet you have so much good stuff in there! but i feel like i read somewhere that generally anything over 4 minutes tends to be a bit long for guests. could you make the pictures go faster, as in not as many seconds on each photo? slideshows are so fun and personal, your guests are going to love it!
Could you have the slideshow running all night on a loop instead of having a 'show' then you can make it as long as you would like!
I personally think 8.5 minutes is a bit long, are you able to shorten it at all? Or like Future Mrs. Martin suggested-play it all night?
Ultimatly its up to you, its your day :)
Is it playing in the background or do you want your guests to actively watch it for 8 minutes?

No, we're not going to play it in the background... it will just be shown once during the reception.

So... our slideshow is about 8 1/2 minutes long... do you think that's too long? We already cut it down from over 11 minutes! Should I keep it as it is, or try to cut it down even further?
