It will be fine.  It has to last 1 day!  I’ve seen tons of posts on the Bee with women in beautiful David’s dresses.  They looked every bit as nice as the women who went for the more expensive ones!

I looked at a bunch of different bridal shops–David’s included–and honestly? The quality was all about the same. The only time I really saw a difference was with the mega-expensive gowns, say, $6,000-$7,000 on up (and unfortunately, I was not in that market). As PP said, it really just has to last for one day! I really think you will be fine. I know there are a lot of horror stories about David’s but all the brides I know who got their dresses there were pleased. My bridesmaids’ dresses came from there and it was super easy–everything came in faster that they originally said and all was well. Chances are, you’ll have the same luck.

My David’s dress was awesome and so were the bm dresses. Most issues are with their less-than-great customer service. Don’t worry everything will be fine. Btw a lot of time dresses come in damaged and it isn’t necessarily the company’s fault, could have happened during shipping, most of the time they just reorder and don’t tell you about it.

My experiane at david’s bridal [like trying on dresses] wasn’t all that great, but the dress itself came in beautifully. Not a single thing wrong with the dress – it’s well made, has boning and looks great.
