Last time I read so many success stories that sounded similar to yours and just as many with sad endings. It’s so hard to say without more diagnostics. Is your Dr going to send your for an ultrasound to see what’s going on in there?

It hurts me to see you in such an uncertain place again. I’ve got everything hoping that your LO is just taking its time.

@mtler:  I completely understand. 🙁 Would you be able to take a personal day or work from home? I had so much trouble concentrating last time when I was waiting for results, I deferred 2 of my exams.  I hope SO HARD that your numbers come back better, but cautious pessimism makes sense given the circumstance.

@mtler:

Just to shed some light…

If you were to do a 72 hour doubling rate it would look like this

Friday May 31 -65

Monday June 3 – 130

Thursday June 6- 260

Sunday June 9- 520

Look like you are right on the verge of normal…the next test will really be able to tell if it goes in the 1000’s then I think you are fine.

How many DPO are you?

I don’t have anything to add other than I wish you the best of luck at the Drs and I think you should go home and get under those covers and rest!

@mtler:  at least its rising maybe nt the way it should but u hav to let pregnancy do its thing. I was diagnosed with placenta previa, went to the er cuz i gushed fluid. The doctor told me i was extremely high risk and the nurse chimed in saying I was gonna miscarry (I also found out it was a boy which was exactly wat we wanted!) I lived everyday terrified! I barely went to college cuz i didnt want to move too much,it was really bad. Proud to say 2 months later my placenta moved up and I am carrying a very healthy (and ACTIVE) baby boy

Going to share my experience, not trying to scare you, just giving my own feedback.

Back in January when I was PG (it turned out to be a blighted ovum) my levels were rising but not doubling. My doctor didn’t seem that concerned, just happy they were rising. I knew something wasn’t right, but I didn’t push the issue. BUT I also did not FEEL right, I had this impending sense of doom and felt like something was wrong 24/7 and then I had off and on bleeding, so I just knew.

Now everyone is different, some women rise slower in the beginning. I would trust your doctor, but definitely express your concerns. Maybe he/she can give you progesterone if there is an issue there. Maybe your doctor can test you again on Wednesday and see if they have doubled from today.

Good luck!
