I would HIGHLY suggest the book the $100 Startup, it would help you immensely with coming up with ideas 🙂

Before you invest a lot of money in school or otherwise, I would try to narrow it down more. You’re all over the board. Trying making your own bath stuff. You can get started on stuff like bath bombs and lotion without a huge investment (think several hundred vs. several thousand). Try selling on Etsy and go from there. You might find that you actually can’t stand doing this. And just because you like something as a hobby doesn’t mean you’ll be a) good at it b) able to make money off of it.

I am not really sure what business you could start with a vet tech degree other than possibly pet sitting/walking or creating some pet product – it’ll give you more credibility.

As for the business degree, I’d argue that it doesn’t necessarily prepare you for starting your own business. This is also an expensive option and by the time you’re done in four years, you may completely change your mind on having a business, or a good idea may come to you. I’m a bit confused why you want to do a vet tech and a business degree but are considering going into the beauty business lol…
