Mine was 5-6cm and “not simple” per my ultrasound.  GYN wanted to operate.  I was really upset.

Got a second opinion.  She waited until just after my period for ultrasound.  100% gone.

indyJEEP :  oh man I’m sorry to hear that. I know the fear and dread that accompanies the returning symptoms. My doc put me on the pill and it helped a lot. Of course that’s not helpful if youre TTC. My girlfriend was put on progesterone to help with hers. Not a doc and I realize everyone’s situation is different, but I’m sharing that because she was TTC.

Im keeping my fingers crossed for you bee. I know how this can negatively impact your life and take over. Please let me know how it turns out. I’m glad you updated, was wondering how you were.

indyJEEP :  I have 3 large fibroids which I didn’t know I had until I got pregnant.  I will say these fibroids have caused nothing but stress and complications in this pregnancy so as soon as we deliver our baby boy, I’m going to have them removed!

indyJEEP :  they’ve told me what type of fibroids but I don’t remember.  I just know I have 3 of them.  The problem is baby’s placenta is partially attached to one of the fibroids which has caused a partial placenta abruption and bleeding several times.

I may need a c section but it’s because our baby is breech because of the fibroids.  We shall see in a few weeks.

indyJEEP :  so glad you updated! sorry to hear it’s looking like it’s still there, but eeek ttc! How exciting!

I also have the spotting off and on, hard not to worry about that.  thanks for asking after my sytmpoms. So far so good, my periods got heavier in time after the surgery, but are manageable.

indyJEEP :  aw man I’m sorry it’s growing but glad she thinks she can avoid anything more invasive. I just had a transvaginal ultrasound (fun) for my spotting issues due to a cyst and fibroids, but so far no need for another surgery. Keep us updated, keeping my fingers crossed for you!
