That would be easy to fix since the jeweler can basically just put in some gold right where the hole is. Probably would only take a day to do. However, it would cost a pretty penny to add gold there. I’m guessing around $100 depending on what kind of gold.

If definitely think so! I had a woven band repaired no problem, which in my mind is trickier than your problem. Research well reviewed jewelers and price shop! And good luck. 🙂 (I’m super OCD about my ring as well…just found a tiny ding in the halo! Ack!)

My ring has a small imperfection where the metal has swirled a little on the inside of the bottom of the ring so it looks like a C. My initial reaction was of annoyance but I have since decided I like it since my first initial is C and the word for love in my native language is ‘Cariad’.

So instead of OCDing I decided to accept an imperfection as a unique engraving 😀 Plus if anyone ever had the same ring as mine I could tell mine apart.

Could you do the same?

I’m sure it will be an easy fix. Just go to a jeweler and see if they can do it for you Smile

@crookedframe:  I see. Yeah I think a skilled jeweler could definitely do that!  Probably wouldn’t cost too much either.

that hole would not go through to the diamond. Isn’t that the spot where the head is soldered on?
