small NYC wedding

Jlynn167:  all of that is really subjective. it depends on what you want, sure you can get away with anything technically but you will have to sacrifice some things. NYC is expensive period. some things to think about are what kind of venue do you want? do you want $3000 flowers, do you want a top of the line $4000+ photography package?  what kind of vibe are u going for? these are all things u need to consider and then make a list and determine your priorities. an 80 person wedding in the City can quickly become 25K + but Ive also seen people do it for your budget.  

and just a bit of advice, take it for what you want, but if you are going for a popular venue, they can book over a year out. if you are trying to get married in 6 months u need to narrow ur venue down first to see who is even available and then go from there.

65-80 people is a lot, but you could do it up pretty well if you did a lunchtime wedding!
