Hey that’s awesome!!! I did my first 5k earlier this year (also my last 5k.. I busted my knees!) and that was my small victory.

Keep it up!!! 🙂

Congrats! That is a huge accomplishment. I have been going to a body Sculpt class and my small victory is that I have been able to gradually add ten pounds to my lifting weight! That doesn’t sound like a lot, but when you’re doing constant reps for an hour it is! 🙂 yay for small victories! My arms are looking toned these days!

@legenwaitforitdary:  My small victory? Going to the gym. Lol!

I hate the gym and love to hike, but it’s too dark out to exercise outside by the time I get home from work. So I’ve been making myself go the gym after work (tonight I’m taking a rest day because my abs are sore and my shins were getting a bit painful yesterday on the treadmill) to do a bit of cardio and lift some weights. I only stay between 20 and 30 minutes during the week (and BF and I try to go together on weekends), but I figure its better than nothing.

Wow, that’s awesome!  Congratulations!  I don’t think it’s a small victory really because running one mile takes major effort on my part… I’m definitely not a runner lol.  I’ve been doing my Pure Barre dvd and my small victory is that I can definitely tell that my hips are a bit slimmer.  I just have to stick with it!  The hardest part is waking up in the morning early to do it, but I think I’m starting to get into a routine…

Keep it up!

@legenwaitforitdary:  That’s amazing, good job!! My victory is even smaller, but it’s still one for me! I hate running, hate hate it! But I decided I should try to incorporate it a little into my gym routine. So I just sucked it up and did it. I ran 1/2 a mile without stopping lol I know that’s not a long distance, but I was shocked I was able to do it.. now I’m going to push myself to do 3/4 a mile then a whole mile!

@legenwaitforitdary:  That’s true.. about having to start somewhere.. 3 times now at the gym I’ve run .5 miles without stopping.. maybe after another time or two I’ll bump it up. I can’t picture myself ever being one who loves to run, but maybe I’ll be able to tolerate it. Thanks!!

@legenwaitforitdary:  That’s how I feel.. I know it’s good for me, and I just do it and get it over with. I was on the track the other day, almost at the end of the first lap and I was chanting outloud “I hate running I hate running” lol but I did it and kept going… luckily no one else was there to hear me or they’d think I was a nut 😉
