@ValerieNY:  Why type of food are you looking for? Are you willing to have guests travel? There are so many amazing restaurants in Astoria!

What part of Queens?  I’m actually from Queens, I know the gardens are in Flushing.

I just planned my bff’s bridal shower in Queens so I actually called a BUNCH of restaurants and found a lot of lunch options for around $35/pp.

We ended up doing it at Laterna on Bell Blvd, but there are other options. I think it was $35/pp, but no alcohol was included – the mimosas were extra.  I would say the service was a bit slow, the food was only ok – but my friend had been to a shower there before and it was a lot better.  There’s a whole private room in the back and a spot for a DJ/band and they have an ipod hookup if you go that way.

Also, check Sala ($30/pp, but no alcohol included) on Nothern and Trattoria 35 ($45/pp – but they said there’s a ton of food, and unlimed beer/wine/soda) on Bell.

Hope this helps!

Honestly, a bunch of restaurants in the area are going to do a daytime option for around that price.  You just have to call the ones you like and ask!
