check out the thursday club in la canada....they are a non profit group and they don't advertise or have a website, but you can rent it for 2k. we had 93 guest with a dance floor and it was perfect.
Check our Red White + Bluezz in Pasadena. They have private spaces. There's also a patio area (but I think it's now a different name). Love this place.
Check out the Grand Event Center in Long Beach. The prices are great especially if you do it on a Sunday.

I am having mine at the Sky Room and they have many different options! We are buying out the entire restaurant on a Sunday night for only $7500 F&B Minimum! The food is also the best I have tried and guests order onsite.

It's only $29/ head, tables and linens included. and has a really nice view!

I'm having a lot of trouble locating smaller, relatively inexpensive but still unique wedding reception venues (and possibly also functions as wedding ceremony) in the Los Angeles area for my wedding in October 2012. One of my close friends had her wedding reception at Rococo Room in Pasadena and I'm looking for a similar feel. The wedding size is anticipated to be about 100 people and the most south I'd like to have possibly be is Long Beach. Would ideally like an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
