DH totally did! And when we bought his ring, he wanted to wear it right away. I had to keep telling him, "Honey, it's still a month and a half away. Put it back in the box." :P I think he was a little more excited than I was, but I'd just lost a close relative so it kind of dampened the mood for me for a little while.
Yep! He's all excited. ...he won't shut up about the wedding night, but he's excited for all the other stuff too. Makes me smile. The best was in his sleep when he said, "You're my wife, and I love you." He talks in his sleep a lot.
@Mrs Grape- I'm sorry about your loss, I know it must've been hard but I know seeing him like that probably got your heart all warm and fuzzy :)
@Ms. Gremmlin- I def hear that about the wedding night, all the time. Aww that's so awesome. The best thing so far was him sending me a text telling me he couldn't wait for me to be Mrs. _____. I almost cried. It's amazing how we do all of this worry and stuff until the day of and like two weeks before they are more excited than we are cause we are so exhausted and just ready to get it done and over with :) BTW... How's the remainder of the planning going. Your wedding is the day after mine, so almost date twins lol!
@LOGAHN1981: Thank you. :) It really sucked at the time (my great-aunt was like a mother to me), but I did get a serious case of the warm-and-fuzzies to see him all excited. We decided to elope literally 2-3 days before she passed away, so we were trying to help plan a funeral and get all our wedding shit together at the same time, lol.
The wedding day itself was a little hard because I knew she would have loved to be there, but DH and I wore some of her jewelry. I had a pin and some earrings, and he found an old tie tack she used to put on scarves. He did it on his own, too, which was a nice surprise.
We're not even close but randomly he will tell me "I'm so excited about the wedding." or "I can't wait to get married." =)
FI has a wedding countdown on his phone....he was so freaking excited! however...he is turning in to a groomzilla lol!
I wish I could contribute to this thread :)
My FI is looking forward to being married and seeing his friends in one place, but I dont think he's really excited, per se.
@LOGAHN1981: Plans are finally coming together-- and I think my mood swings have stopped haha! Are you feeling ready? We've hardly got two weeks left!
@MrsStrawberry24: Mine has had groomzilla moments, too-- and it cracks me up.
@Ms. Gremmlin: Aaaaaw - That's really special. Must've been nice to hear him saying that in his sleep.
@Ms. Gremmlin - I'm as ready as I can be.. lol.. I'm at the if it's done it is,if it isn't oh well point now. I'm ready to get the show on the road. :) I know and this week has FLOWN by so you know next week will fly by too :) .. I thought I was the only one with mood swings lol..
I think now that pretty much all the actual wedding planning stuff is done and we are just...waiting and waiting for the actual day, he is more excited. He is so ready to be married! It makes me smile everytime.
It is really sweet. FI usually glazed over when I talked about wedding details, but now that we are getting closer he is more engaged in all the details and excited. :)
I can't figure FI out. He talks about the wedding when I bring it up, and seems excited...but he doesn't gush about it. I just don't think he's much of a gusher! I do know that on Saturday night we each went out with our friends and came home VERY drunk...he seemed excited then!
My fiance is so sweet and is always telling me he can't wait for me to be his wife... and the wedding is still over 6 months away! He is so excited... I feel so lucky.
I am also a proud member of the "My Fiance Is Super Excited About Our Wedding" club. Two things to illustrate this point:
1. He's on Weddingbee.
2. He's got more posts than I do.
ScottSouth is being the most helpful fiance in the world. He makes plans. He makes lots of crafts. He runs errands. He writes checks to venues and vendors. He has strong, carefully considered opinions. He insists that it look like OUR wedding and not just MY wedding. He's spending more on his suit than I spent on my gown (which is by Priscilla of Boston and therefore stupidly expensive).
It hasn't gone into a fever pitch yet or anything, but he's been enthusiastic about the wedding the whole way through our engagement. I don't know how anyone plans a wedding without a partner like him.

Hey Bees,
I was wondering did any of you all's FH get all excited within the last few weeks before the wedding. My FH has gotten seriously giddy, like seriously. He doesn't the robot (he claim's he's going to do at the wedding), every night or at least once a day and smiles and says "Woooo I'm gonna tear it up at the wedding" SMH. Then last night he grab my hand and looked at my ring and said "Yeah that band is gonna fit nicely" (I haven't seen it and wont until that day). The he smiled and asked "Had I written my vows yet" and how he's been practicing writing and how he's are going to be pretty long but I'm going to cry more than I will laugh (makes me want to add a little more to mine) I think is so sweet and adorable how he's excited and stuff as the days dwindle down.:)
So any married or about to be married soon bee's notice any excitement from the Hubby Bee's?
