Bees who live up north - is it snowing right now?! That's crazy. I'm not ready for winter!!!
We're on the same latitude as Canada. It hasn't started here yet, but i've been hearing that it's not too far off. I'm not ready either!
i live in chicago and its just cold a F*ck outside! myheat has been on all day! but no snow.... YET!!!
Not here in the city, but upstate (Albany area) my parents got some snow today!
I agree, it feels wayyyy too early!
I'm in southern WI and they said there was a slight chance of a flurry or 'graupel' which I'd never heard of before! It's like teenytiny hail.

I'm wayy Upstate and no snow yet! Which is weird, usually there's snow by my husband's birthday on 10/16.
They are calling for flurries on Saturday though. I'm ready!
It's suppose to be really cold tomorrow, I think I might have to bust out my winter coat, the pea coat might not cut it!
in in australia - i dont understand how anyone can live somewhere where it snows, yikes!
Ahhhh I'm so jealous!! I'm in California, 80 here today :( I want snow/cold weather!
@Gerbera: Weird that it snowed near Albany (Schenectady), but not by you... I'm guessing you are further north than that?
@kaylee26: ahh where are you? I've heard it's started in Hartford. I'm sure the roads are too warm right now!

I'm in Toronto and the weather network says it'll be dropping below freezing tonight, but it looks like rain's coming, not snow....yet!
@PitBulLover: my head office is in ohio and our boss was from there there and we were rugged up and complaining about the cold (it was about 60f) and he sent an email to the entire company saying that unless you have to dig your way through a 6ft snow drift to get out your own front door no one is allowed to complain about a cold winter while he was the GM :)

They're saying we might have some snowflakes around midnight, because it will be cold enough - I may stay up just to see it! :)
I know it snowed in Western, MA today from some friends' photos on Facebook. Just a coating though.

@PitBulLover:I know lol I lived in Ohio for 2 years and I hated the snow/winter so much! I just forget since I've been living here for so long and I'm ready for at least fall to come!
I LOVE Four Seasons. I can not live some where that I don't get four seasons. But I'll be happier if where I was winter was 3 months instead of more like...4.

I'm a glutton for punishment? haha. I love that first month of snowfall...but after the 3rd month I'm so ready for Spring!

@Gerbera: hehe, I'm with you, I LOVE the seasons - especially winter and summer. I love the Cape beaches but I LOVE snow in the city, too. But by April, I don't want to see another snowflake!
In SW PA it's been in the 40s all week...no snow yet but a lot of chilly, clammy rain /: I want it to snow so bad! I love snow and I love winter, haha, I'm a freak.

It's been SO COLD here! There is flurries in the forecast for next Tuesday, November 1st. Yikes! But I am escaping the winter in December and moving out to Victoria BC. :D
It's currently snowing in MA. So not ready for this yet!
Im in CT.... as much as I love seeing the first snow I had hoped the weather would be the same as last fall...no snow until December. Oh well....:)

It snowed here the other day. Alberta Canada. booo. i've been wearing my winter coat and mitss for a few days now.

I'm in northern Vermont and thank goodness I have not seen a flake yet ! Lol... I'm dreading it.... I love the snow, but hate the cold that comes with it :( and from what I hear... It is apparently coming our way this weekend
I haven't seen any yet, but there's been a little, just not enough for it to stick around by the time I was up. My husband's seen it falling a few times now.
I like having 4 seasons, but I could do without the extremes! -20 - 25C would be enough to keep me happy.
No snow on the west coast! Sure better not be for a long time still!
@Gerbera: I used to live in Syracuse, and I remember two years ago, there was only one month out of the whole year (July) that was absolutely snow free! It must have snowed even a little on like June 1 and late August that year somewhere in NY State - almost November is nothing!
No snow yet (in Central PA), but they're predicting a couple inches on Saturday. I'm way excited, I love snow!
ETA: I especially prefer snow to what we have now...40 and raining. I'd much rather it be 30 and snowing. It was trick-or-treat night in the town tonight, and we still have more than half a basket of candy because it was so miserable out...we only had maybe 18 kids come by...had I known, I would have given the ones that came more candy.
I live in an apartment so I'm not dressed enough to just wander the halls to get outside and it's dark outside my window so I can't tell :( It doesn't say it is or will on weather.com though. I really do not want it to snow this weekend.
I dont know why so many people hate winter. I only hate when its freezing out and the snow starts to make life incredibly difficult (like this past winter in Jan and Feb) but when its a light dusting like this? Its beautiful. I cant stand the same thing all year long so I would not do well in south Florida or wherever else it never snows.
When I lived in Albania I lived near the coast so although it got chilly in winter, it never snowed and I was always bummed.
It was 80 today here, but its supposed to be 59 tomorrow! I think I might freeze (Obviously I don't do well with cold weather lol). But I LOVE when it snows, maybe because it rarely ever happens.
@AlbanianBride27: the only reason I really dislike the snow is because here for "canadian winter" we don't get anywhere near what the rest of the country does. Because of that, we don't have any budget for snow clearing etc. When it snows, most people here are scared shitless to drive (and therefore cause accidents) because they're not used to it, and also because the roads don't get cleared. 99% of the time it isn't powder snow, its slushy icy crap that's dangerous on the roads.
If our roads were clear and I didn't have to drive up large hills and mountains to get home from anywhere else I wouldn't dislike it so much. To be honest I'm hoping we get some snow for our wedding day, but not so much that no one can get there because nothing has been cleared downtown! I think its beautiful when you don't have anywhere to be when you live in Vancouver BC.
