Holy cow!I hope it stops soon for you.
Im almost kind of jealous, we never get very much snow here. :( I love snow.
You guys got it BAD! We have nothing here!!!! It's pretty terrible up around Alliston/Barrie too I hear. DH is excited because that means Blue Mountain is opening up this weekend ;)
Whooooooooa! It's been a while since I've seen snow like that, and I live in Alberta! 3 snow days is awesome though!
@bakerella: I know my parents are in Guelph and they don't have more than 3 inches. We get some weird weather here because we are between Lake Erie and Lake Huron. This storm is literally a band between the two lakes!
I am SO jealous. In Dallas, it snows maybe once a year, and only a couple of inches if that. And then everything closes down because no one knows how to drive in snow or ice, nor are our roads/road crews equipped for it

The snow started falling in London Ontario on Sunday afternoon and it has not stopped!!!!
I am a PhD student and the University, which never closes because of weather, closed on Monday at 11am. SNOW DAY!!!!!
I woke up this morning to find out that the University was closed again. And DH got sent home from work at 9:30am!!!! SNOW DAY WITH THE HUBBY!!!! YAY!!!!
And now it has been released that the public transit will not be running tomorrow (because the snow is still coming down) and so the University will be closed again tomorrow. SNOW DAY #3.
This NEVER happens in our City. I have lived here for 9 years and there has been only one other day that the University has closed due to weather. The whole city seems to be shut down! Not that I can leave because they haven't ploughed my street and my poor little civic would never make it through the 80+cm of snow! (almost 3 feet)
