My daughter wants one of these so bad, lol. We just laugh whenever the commercials come on and yell, "SNUGGIEEEE". My 18 month old thinks it funny so that's why do it. They remind me of a robe you would wear in a cult or secret fraternity, haha.

Snuggie= knockoff of the slanket. I was thinking of buying a slanket but turned my bathrobe inside out and made one instead. Best $0 I've ever spent
these sorta creep me out...the first time a I saw it on tv the whole tv family was wearing a red one...my first thought was: 'OMG, a cult advertising on tv'!!!

I'm totally getting one! I've always been annoyed at having to pull my hands out from under my totally warm blanket to turn book pages or use the tv remote! And it's not like I'm wearing it anywhere outside the house. I'll prolly use it in conjunction with my totally embarassing fuzzy slippers!
So this is hilarious! Although I do not own a snuggie, my fiance wants to buy me one because he thinks its perfect for me...not sure whether thats a good thing or not :) Anyway, if you live in the Chicago area, they are even having a Snuggie bar crawl! Whether you like them or not, they are good for a laugh!
Both my mom and FMIL are in love with the Snuggie! They both talk about it so much, I may just do a two for one order for Mother's Day.
Among my gifts for valentine's day this year, FI got me the Snuggie! I have to say, I thought it was lame/cheesy when I first saw it, too...but I love it! It's not the warmest blanket, but it's definitely the most convenient and makes doing things a lot easier (changing the channel on the tv, talking on the phone, pretty much all of the stuff they say on the cheesy infomercial!) Also, I'm pretty tall (5'11") and it still covers up my feet when I'm laying on the couch. I think he spent all of $15 on it, and I'd say for that price, it's worth it.
I don't really understand the Snuggie craze. Why not just wear a robe? I have a fleece robe that's the most comfortable thing ever, so whenever I'm cold in my drafty old apartment, I wear it and it keeps me warm.
But hey, whatever floats your boat. :-)
My fiance loves them, I found a website where you can get a pattern to make one and with stores like Joann's that have good sales on fabric I am sure I can make it cheaper. PM me if you want the website.
I am actually going to make FH one as a gag gift for the wedding.
i always walk around with blanket throws around my shoulders at home! I'm always cold! This is just that with arm holes... :)
Snuggies are so cute, I have to say... my bathrobe works fine for me because it has extra long sleeves, but I love the commercials. They're so ridiculous!
We first saw the commercial around Christmas when my FBIL announced that he would disown anyone who got him one as a family member...they are so ridiculously hilarious that I keep thinking of buying one just for amusement!
danaadell, I'm an always cold and in blankets gal as well. I have this one blanket that has some snaps on the sides so that you can kind of turn it into a poncho. I guess that's similar to a Snuggie...but I heart it:)
The people on the morning show in our area are obsessed with these and hot pockets. Everytime I see or hear about one I laugh out loud -- they can make ANYTHING hilarious! I think if you're the type that's always cold that one of these would be perfect!
