We invited about 190. 174 have RSVP (includes DJ and bridal party, etc.). But who knows if that many will actually show up.
Invited 226. 125 attending. Both families are OOT so not a huge surprise but disappointingly lower than I expected.
Lamest excuse? Skipping to attend a personal training convention that same weekend b/c this cousin needs to complete CLE credits by MAY NEXT YEAR. Argh. Yes, I just found this out last night, AFTER we included her family of 5 (!!) in our final count to the caterer. Seriously?!
Invited 185, 99 attending. Feeding 105, including us and vendors. That's just about what we thought it would be. A large portion of those not coming are my many cousins and their children, who live about 1300 miles away.
I think 62 are accepting. We added a few last minute requests cause we are very flexible. Only 5 people rsvp'd no. And some people I guess just won't be rsvping at all haha. I'm a bad bride and never took a full pre invite head count.
We invited around 120-130, 84 RSVPed yes, we're feeding 89 with vendors.. We did have 86, but then JJ's best man dropped out like two days ago :(

Looks like we are all moving along nicely, I am having tiny issues with the seating lol. How is everyone doing with that?
We invited about 225. Final number to the caterer was 155. We were happy with that number. :-)
My lamest excuse? Its the first day of deer hunting season. This was what my first cousin said to me. As if all the deer will be gone on the first day of hunting season.
@organizedbride11: I know, it was a total shock to us! Apparently he had some sort of family emergency that JJ hasn't decided to talk to him about yet, so we had to scramble to find another groomsmen, make sure that there was still enough time to rent a tux (we're still not sure on that one), and get his now-best man informed.. Crazy..
@FutureHawley11: I agree, deer hunting season is a completely lame excuse, and I've had my fair share of lame excuses, but the way you worded that just made me giggle a little haha..
We invited 103 guests and our final count is 67. I invited all of my co-workers, but we didn't expect them to come since I work and live 500 miles away from where the wedding will be. So that's partly why our invite count is so high compared to our final count.
Oddest excuse we received: FI's sister said she can't afford to make the trip out for the wedding. EXCEPT she could afford to fly her and her boyfriend a month ago to visit family for no reason at all
These excuses are so lame! I also got a good one about "not realizing that Indiana is a 12-hour drive from DC." Geography much? Especially when you routinely drive between IN and OH and realize THAT is a 7-8 hour drive! Come on. And airplanes? you know, those things you and your surgeon husband go on all the time when you take your vacations all over the Caribbean. If you just don't feel like coming or it's too inconvenient, tell me that rather than something completely ridiculous!
Anyone else want to tear their hair out at this point?! I think I need a massage.
@HoyaLawya2010: yeah, I feel ya. I'm pretty sure that one of the flakiest friends I have, who responded to me begging her to rsvp, she said they would show up and were looking forward to it, but I'm not holding my breath. And i'll be pissed if they don't show up

@SleepingWithNuns: Ohhh speaking of flaky, Ms. Personal Trainer Cousin just called my mom and *WHEW* the conference that was SUPER IMPORTANT to attend last night was *just* conveniently cancelled so they can come after all. Gee, I wonder who told her how sh!tty her excuse was... would love to have been a fly on the wall for that conversation. But really, now I'm supposed to be super excited they're coming?! ARGH.
We invited 50 plus a few extra once we received some No RSVPs. We ended up with 44.
Wedding day is 8 days away...
The venue is booked for 150 we invited 167 and have 146 attending!!!

we invited 204 and last I checked the number was 164. However, my cousin dumped her boyfriend, so he's not coming, and I think my mom may have invited some people last minute...

Nice!! I have -1 now because my friends husband wont be coming now.. And another -2 because one couple the husband is on crutches so they cant come now lol So I am at 94 and feeding 97 idk I really dont care to be honest, I feel like the closer it gets and looking at all the rsvps etc I should be really happy but I think I had been so stressed out with planning that I let my mind shut down about it LOL so I need to snap out of it. I feel better today, I think I just needed to let myself think about anything else for a few days so I did. Now Im back to the organizing 8 and 9 days to go ladies!!!
We have around 240 coming (that's counting adults, children, vendors). We've gotten some really lame excuses to why certain family members aren't coming that really broke my heart, but I guess it is what it is. (For example, my mom passed away when I was 2 and I was really close to my aunt, my mom's sister, and she'd rather sleep than come to the wedding..*sigh* not because she works late or anything, but she just wants to sleep.)
@daniellerenee85: That sucks and I am sorry that you are going through it--I'm sure it is very difficult for you. Not to minimize it in any way but at this point I would rather sleep than attend my own wedding :/
We have 59, feeding 60 counting the photographer. We invited about 72 in total. Those who couldn't come were mainly distance/cost reasons. No crazy excuses.
Soooo stressed now. Promised myself I wouldn't be, but I am cracking over the silliest little things.
Our RSVPs just went up, my mom found a bunch of cards she forgot to add in. We sent out 190, and now we got 215 RSVPs. @_@ Oy.

Well now I am at 98 feeding 101 LOL oh the things that keep changing. We are almost there ladies!!!
@mittens111211: I wish we only had 21 coming! We had planned for a smaller wedding but once we invited someone FI's mom would say "if you invite them you need to invite so and so" which lead us to 69 people! lol
