Oh my goodness! What a cute pup!! My dad and stepmom have a puggle named Beauregard. I lived with them for a little over a year and love their dog! I call him my little brother 🙂 I’m not sure if yours is the same way but our puggle is very fond of one person (my dad) and follows him everywhere! Though when my dad isn’t around he is very snuggling with everyone else too.

This is him with me as a puppy

Him sleeping on my dad

Look at all those wrinkles! So cute 🙂

Here’s a pic of him as an adult. He’s a very large puggle (my stepmom calls him a barrel with legs lol!)

@O.My.Heart:  He is a handsome pooch. Though I have to admit, I think your puggle is a little cuter than my dad’s (don’t tell him I said that 😛 )

I have some sort of pug mix… he was rescued, so we aren’t quite sure with what. His mom was pure Pug.

My cousin has a puggle!! And my FI wants to name our first daughter Harley Quinn 😉

Honestly I prefer it as a dogs name, if we get another dog and it’s a girl I’d be sold on it.

The only thing I don’t enjoy about beagles is the BARKING. My goodness, my cousins puggle has all that beagle bark in her and goes NUTS when people are outside, cars, takeout delivery, anything. My neighbor has a beagle and it’s the same thing. I hope your dog has more of the pug in her!!

We do!  I love him to death.  His name is Trigger.  He’s 3 1/2.  He was recently diagnosed with luxating patella.  Apparently his knee cap moves in and out of the joint 🙁  We may be looking at an extensive surgery.  I guess it’s common with small breeds.  Love puggles, he’s so smart.

Here he is as a baby:

and here’s his halloween costume:

I have 2 puggles.  I was dumb and got the first one from a breeder.  Then after my 17 year old rat terrier died I looked at rescues for a friend for the first and ended up with another puggle.

They are truly a handful but we love them so much.  We have dealt with moderate to extreme allergies, luxating patellas, a torn MCL, struvite crystals, etc., but I would take anything for either of them and their squishy, squishy faces.

@xnlb41084:  My dog (a beagle mix, not a puggle though) has luxating patellas.  We were told that we could do surgery but that if she’s getting around okay, we didn’t need to.  She runs and jumps on everything and hasn’t shown any signs of being in pain while she walks, so we decided to pass.  I do give her joint supplements every day, though.  She’s 10 now and is still getting around great.  Just something to consider!

@O.My.Heart:  I adore puggles, but I have a special place in my heart for beagles.  I have two (one mix, one full) and they are amazing.  Naughty and annoying as hell, but the most loving dogs I’ve ever seen.  Your dog is so adorable.  I’m dying.
