One idea for decorating chairs without using chair covers is to incorporate ribbon somehow...? It sort of depends on what type of chairs they are, but you could weave ribbons in your color scheme on the backs of the chairs, or even just decorate the chairs at the head table with some ribbons. Another option might be to use flowers somehow. I'm not sure if your budget allows for that, but it may be less expensive than chair covers.
I think the gold will look fine with those colors - try not to stress too much about it. People will be focused on you, and how happy your and your new husband look at the reception, not the gold chairs :) Best wishes!

My wedding's July 29th, YES this July 29th- excatly 27 days and counting.. well I have a list of things that need to be done still and no time.
I have a few questions-
Is it tacky to have regular colored napkins or should I just go ahead and order the linen type napkins with my linens as well? & do any of you fellow bee's know how to decorate the chairs w/o having to buy chair covers?
Also, my reception site is decorated completly in gold- gold chandelier's gold chairs and gold drapes. However my colors are pink, white and silver(grey). I should have changed from silver to grey months ago- but I just kept thinking well there's not that much grey elements anyhow. I'm just worried the gold is going to over power everything and my color scheme will be useless. Should I just let it be, or play up my grey more?
