    I thought nausea was bad in the first few weeks, but this dizziness is pure hell!

    I'm spinning as I sit here at my desk at work, ugh!  It's so hard to try and explain things to people when my whole world is off kilter, lol!

    Anyone else?  Does it last long?  Please tell me it's temporary!!!

    It happens to me a lot. I'm also 15 weeks and it's been present for the last few weeks. Mainly after I eat (rush of sugar) or stand up. Especially going to the bathroom in the middle of the night! I think it was Friday night- I got up to use the bathroom and almost fell into the wall. Scary.

    I am 15 weeks also.

    I get very light headed when I stand up too quickly. It happens almost every day. I will almost feel like I will pass out

    I have been reading in my books that being dizzy can happen for a lot of reasons.

    It can be the change in your blood pressure because you are pregnant

    It can be low blood sugar

    Standing up to quickly or even standing for too long.

    From my expereince and what I have read...it sounds very normal.

    If you feel really concerned though...you should just call your dr. to be on the safe side.

    I got really dizzy at around 15 weeks too. I'm almost 22 weeks and it's already pretty much passed. Hopefully you won't suffer for long! Just be sure to keep taking care of yourself so you don't pass out and fall...

    ditto- i went through a few weeks of being super dizzy, having to put a foot on the floor when laying down dizzy.  it did pass somewhere in the early 20's weeks.  The key is to make your movements like standing up....sloww.

    I'm not too concerned about it, just a pregnancy nuisance.  It doesn't happen when I stand up, usually when I'm just sitting or standing.

    @StbHisMrs:

     I just got back from the hospital freaking out because I got dizzy while I was sitting down. This is my first baby and I have felt fabulous the whole time. This was my first incident so of course, I got worried. It was low blood sugar. I didn't connect it because I just got through eating breakfast 15 minutes before it happened and it hasn't happened to me since I was a kid.

    Thank goodness my husband is completely understanding. I would try eating PB & Crackers or drink some juice and just see if that helps. It might not be related to your sugar but this was just my experience.

    Hope you feel better.
