In my “I love him, but I will not ______” thread, a few ladies mentioned that they flat out refuse to use the bathroom with their FI present or to allow him to use the bathroom with them present. This is probably the weirdest thread I have ever made, but here it goes!
What’s your bathroom policy?

We have never gotten to the point where we are *that* comfortable lol. We do not enter the bathroom when either of us are doing more than showering…or #1 lol

The only time my husband uses the bathroom with me nearby is when I’m in the shower with the curtain closed in the morning and he can’t hold it. I will not do the same, though. Everything else is closed-door only.

We USUALLY don’t. That said – if I *really* have to pee while he is in the shower, I’ll go in there and tell him not to look…LOL
He TRIED to pee once while I was brushing my teeth and couldn’t – he said his bladder was shy.
Our NORMAL, however, is the bathroom time is PRIVATE. (Showers being the exception!)

@MrsPanda99: we have a modified open-door policy: one can pee while the other is in the shower, but not while they’re just standing there brushing their teeth or putting on makeup.
pooping is totally out of the question.

Hell no, I close the door even if I’m home alone

Closed door policy. Keep some mystery for goodness sake!

@MrsPanda99: Almost anything goes with us. Although he doesn’t need to be in there to see me changing a tampon, he’s definitely barged in when I’m doing other things. And he often leaves the door open when he’s using the bathroom. We just don’t care I guess lol

We don’t even use the same bathroom. I use the master bathroom and he uses the “guest” bathroom. To be fair at this point our guest bathroom is actually the larger of the two and mine only has a shower no bathtub so sometimes I use the other one if I want to take a bath.
He complains mine is too covered in “girly stuff” and I think he leaves the bathroom too messy, wet, etc…that I would be cleaning it every time I went in there before using it. Instead I clean it once or twice a week and ignore the mess the rest of the time.

I leave the door open when I shower because my bathroom is REALLY tiny, but I still wouldn’t want him to pee in there while I am showering. Last week he peed with the door open for the first time ever, and I was, like, shocked just because we had never crossed that line before! haha.

@canarydiamond: I think keeping some mystery alive is often underrated, but very important.

Modified open door policy…our rule is: If it stinks, close the door and keep it to yourself!
Other than that, anything goes lol

He’ll do anything in front of me. I believe potty time is private time– except for my dog. She thinks my potty time is cuddle time, and she comes in with me EVERY single time. If I leave the door cracked for her to come in because I know she’s on her way, my husband will jump up, run to the door and bust in, so happy that he caught me tinkling. That happened exactly once. Now i just wait to close the door until my corgi has arrived.

we pee in front of each other but no. 2 must be done in private! I have performance anxiety.
